Loon's Nest Cabin
Welcome to Loon's Nest Cabin, one of eleven charming cabins at Les Cheneaux Landing Resort, located just off the M-134 Scenic By-way (a designated scenic route) that stretches along 50 miles of Lake Huron shoreline in the eastern Upper Peninsula of Michigan.
Visitors to the area can enjoy a variety of outdoor activities such as swimming, boating, fishing, hunting, kayaking, hiking, bird watching and exploring small communities like Hessel and Cedarville. The area is known for its charming small towns and rich history, making it a perfect destination for nature lovers and adventure seekers alike.
Loon’s Nest Cabin offers a warm atmosphere with pine wood paneling, a combination living
room/kitchen, two bedrooms and one bathroom. Each bedroom features a comfortable full-size bed, perfect for a restful night's sleep. The living room couch also makes into a twin bed. The cabin was updated in 2023 & 2024 with vinyl flooring, new appliances and furnishings.
One of the highlights of Loon's Nest is the screened-in front porch. This serene spot is ideal for watching the sunrise, enjoying your morning coffee, reading a good book, or simply soaking in the refreshing Les Cheneaux breezes.
The cabin offers a side view of the lake, overlooking the yard and the sand beach volleyball court. Additionally, there is a lawn area in front of the cabin with a picnic table and a charcoal grill, ideal for outdoor gatherings, and it’s just a short stroll across the yard to the beach and docks.
