Wilderness Bay Cabin is a cozy, two bedroom log cabin. Each bedroom has one full size bed and the living room couch makes into a twin bed. The cabin has a combination kitchen/dining/living room area and bathroom with tub and shower.
This cabin has all the amenities you will need to be comfortable during your stay. The kitchen is fully equipped with an electric range, refrigerator, microwave, coffeemaker, toaster, pots, pans, dishes, glassware, utensils and silverware. Bed linens and pillows are furnished as well. We do ask our renters to provide their own bath and kitchen linens, however, if this is inconvenient, please let us know.
The cabin is set back off the water, but it is just a short stroll across the yard to the beach, docks and spacious grounds of Les Cheneaux Landing Resort.
There's a small porch and patio area with lawn chairs, picnic table and charcoal grill where you can sit and relax after a day of boating, fishing, swimming or a day trip to one of many Upper Peninsula attractions. So, fire up the grill and barbeque your favorite recipe, gather at the picnic table, or walk across the street to Snows Bar & Grill for their fish fry or famous 'Snows Burger.'
All cabin renters at Les Cheneaux Landing have full access to the yard, sand beach volleyball court, horseshoes, swing set, basketball court, sandy swimming beach area and docks.
A beautiful new dock was installed spring of 2020 and can accommodate most any size boat, so bring your boat and cruise the islands. We also have fishing boats and motors, available for rent by the day or week.
This charming and comfortable cabin sits on the most desirable waters of the Les Cheneaux Islands ~ “Snows Channel.”
Wilderness Bay Cabin is one of eleven cabins at Les Cheneaux Landing Resort, 1158 S Park Ave, Cedarville, MI 49719.
The cabin is named after a beautiful bay on the southwest side of Marquette Island, the largest island in the Les Cheneaux chain of 36 islands that lie along the northern shore of Lake Huron. It's a beautiful boat ride from Les Cheneaux Landing to Wilderness Bay, cruising down Snows Channel to Hessel Bay and out to Wilderness Bay and Marquette Bay. Keep your eye out for eagles and osprey. From there you can boat out through the West Entrance into the open waters of Lake Huron and all the way to Mackinac Island.
